The Sisterhood....In Session
With Annie Bennett.....Founder Of The Chronicles Of Hope
Thanks so much for listening! I’d love to hear from you!!
Previously a full time teacher and headteacher, Annie began her baking business, Leading Lady Cakes, in 2014. After a few years running her business alongside her teaching commitments, Annie took the plunge and left full time teaching in 2019.
She now uses her teaching skills to teach the business of home baking through her Home Baking Business Academy, with online groups and a Youtube channel, and has taught many home bakers how to set up their own businesses.
She is a best selling author, and has had articles published online
Annie has been featured in a range of national publications, including Hello Online, Woman Magazine, Prima and Metro, and has appeared on BBC local radio, Times Radio and Talk TV.
Annie was diagnosed with incurable cancer in July 2024, and subsequently closed her cake business, but is now determined that her legacy will be to have helped bakers create profitable businesses, as well as raising awareness of cancer issues and starting a charity to support the families of those with life limiting illnesses.
