The Sisterhood....In Session

With Sadie Nine.....Radio Presenter For BBC Essex And International Singing Star

Sarah Ridge Season 1 Episode 50

Thanks so much for listening! I’d love to hear from you!!

Sadie has been a mainstay on the schedule at BBC Essex, the local BBC radio station, since 2006.

She initially co-presented the breakfast show, providing maternity cover for six months, but Sadie, who admits that she “didn’t expect to be there for this long”, was an instant hit with the listeners.

Sadie now presents the weekend daytime show from 10-2pm.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and underwent a lumpectomy and radiotherapy. When the cancer returned in 2013, Sadie chose to have a full mastectomy and reconstruction.

Sadie loves to entertain and recently hosted her one woman show 'Sadie's Nine Lives' - a musical extravaganza, taking us on a whistle stop tour of her life as a magician's assistant and professional singer.

She is married to Al and lives in Essex with her two furry children - Jancie and Tiger-Lily!!

You can listen to Sadie on BBC Essex any time via the BBC Sounds app.
